Naphtha is specified by its material basis (PETROCHEMICAL FEEDSTOCK), commercial form (liquid refinery / oil product) and intended application. Compare volatility, composition and distillation; sulfur content; density and temperature basis before agreeing a grade. A family name or photograph is not a substitute for the batch analysis and destination-specific acceptance limits. Naphtha — Transport fuels and refinery streams. Agree the end use, grade, applicable current test methods and destination requirements before accepting a shipment specification.

Product-specific COA, SDS where applicable, origin, inspection, packaging and transport documentation; issued for the agreed grade and lot. Parameters to agree: volatility, composition and distillation; sulfur content; density and temperature basis.
