Logistics and Delivery

A quotation should identify the exact destination port or delivery point, quantity, loading window and suitable transport mode. Bulk liquid, dry bulk, bagged and containerized cargo have different handling requirements.

Agree the applicable Incoterms rule with its named place and edition. FOB, CFR and CIF concern sea or inland-waterway transport; the appropriate rule depends on the actual shipment. Incoterms do not replace the sales contract, payment terms or title provisions.

Confirm which party arranges freight, insurance where applicable, customs documentation, loading/discharge inspection and any product-specific permits before committing to a delivery schedule.
